Racing plane, research attributed to the Société des Avions Bernard

Research attributed to the Société des Avions Bernard (Bernard aviation establishment) which succeeded the SIMB (Société Industrielle des Métaux et du Bois Bernard - Wood and Metal Industrial Society Bernard)*.

Even if this model doesn’t bear any resemblance to any plane actually produced, its origin leaves no doubt. In this case one can notice on one hand the fairing, characteristic of cylinders which were found on the Bernard HV-40 and on the other the shape in general which reminds one of the Bernard S-72, a smaller racing plane.

This research is evidence of a stage between the development of these two airplanes. Model in wood and brass, scale 1:10.
