For reasons unknown, wind-tunnel models of gliders are particularly rare. This one was created during the development of an American Bowlus glider, easily identified from the beam used as part of the fuselage. The overall look of the model is similar to a Bowlus BS-100 Super Albatross. It could possibly be just another version, since its gull-shaped wings particularly stand out as different.
